State of Private Labeling
Private labeling has helped many companies increase revenues, and more importantly, profitability while enabling them to enhance their differentiation in their marketplaces. Companies like Home Depot, Grainger and everyone’s supermarket has undertaken this approach. In 2007 private labeling became of interest in the electrical industry. Channel Marketing Group and Allen Ray Associates conducted landmark research on this topic by gathering input from contractors, industrial facilities, distributors, reps and manufacturers on this subject.
