Chalfant is seeking a sales engineer who will be responsible for:
- Developing and implementing the territory’s growth strategy, with a focus on product specification, conversion, and gathering voice of the customer for new product development opportunities.
- Developing relationships with strategic clients in the Oil & Gas, and Industrial verticals including: EPCs, Large Electrical Contractors, Electrical Engineers, and End-Users.
- Supporting reps, as needed, to close the business.
- This role reports to the Vice President of Sales and Marketing – North America.
In This Role You Will
- Develop the territory strategy, in alignment with the overall region and business strategy.
- Execute and communicate a compelling strategic value proposition through sales agents, contractors, specifiers, and end users.
- Plan and direct the efforts throughout the territory and drive sales volume through conversion and specifying activities.
- Gather and leverage voice of customer feedback to recommend new or modify existing programs to ensure a competitive position is gained within the market.
- Utilize negotiation skills to influence and resolve complex problems and influence all stakeholders to drive results.
