Job Description
A major distributor of a worldwide leader in Industrial Automation and control products is looking for a Professional manager to lead theirs efforts in the Automation sector. This new leader will lead the effort to analyze assigned accounts and develop a sales/ solution strategy and execution to increase customer share. They will drive customer business commitment through goal shared objectives. They will need to work very closely with the manufacturer’s automation management to assure account coverage and commitment to the manufacturers products is met. Work with customers to proactively suggest solutions through sales resources to increase customer share. Update specialists on new products and technology as related to customer needs .Develop account relationships at a senior management level. Leverage and guide resources to provide appropriate commercial and technical expertise to the customer. Coordinate resources as necessary to resolve problems involving pricing, product specification, warranties, and product modifications. Arrange required manufacturer training and other technical training for all specialists. Prepare sales forecasts and target account updates.Manage the work output, hold accountable for business objectives and performance all Industrial Automation Specialists and Coordinator. Anticipates staffing requirements to meet operational needs.
