0 A specialty wiring device manufacturer, which is a division of a larger portfolio, is seeking a Commercial Leader to be responsible for the business.
Key competencies and experience requested includes:
- Leadership
- Ability to lead and manage both direct reports and matrixed resources to execute projects, initiatives and obtain business objectives
- Demonstrated ability to align individual goals with business objectives, manage/coach and organize business resources to achieve critical business goals
- Ability to lead and manage as well as willing to personally manage projects and dig into details of business initiatives and situational issues
- Experienced prioritizing and executing on business initiatives including sales, marketing, new product development and operations topics
- Channel sales and marketing experience across multiple channels and go to market models including;
- Ability to develop and monitor metrics/KBIs, providing visibility and management operating routines to drive financial plan and customer satisfaction attainment
Deliverables include:
- Develop and execute a plan to meet/exceed FY15 revenue and profitability plan
- Develop and execute a commercial plan for the launch of a high priority business project
- Review, validate, prioritize and execute on the list of growth opportunities developed at a recent strategic growth planning session.
- Develop and implement customer focused service metrics
- Understand project vs MRO demand triggers to align inventory and lead time planning to be able to serve high volume project demands as well as monthly MRO business volumes
- Ideally experience in one or more of these market segments:
- Entertainment market
- Industrial markets
- Electrical and electronic distribution channels
- MRO/Catalog channels / e-Commerce
- Experience managing a rep sales organization, inside sales staff and field specialists
- Develop and execute a cross business branding and sales access strategy
- Conduct Wiring Device Business Analysis: Product and channel segmentation. Who is buying what in which channel. Organize the business in pie charts showing where the value is being created. (not chargers)
- Develop product road-map
- Establish sales operating metrics and mechanisms to drive sales team accountability, include manufacturers reps in this process
- Review and execute pricing strategies
