Engineered Products Company Seeking EVP
This newly created executive role has been developed as a part of our organization’s succession planning process. This position will be a Key Driver in the future accomplishments and direction of our organization; and will be responsible for overseeing and directing the management teams and processes of the Sales and Marketing Departments for EPCO, the Materials Department, the Engineering Department & the Manufacturing Department to ensure that all areas and systems noted are continuously evaluated for proper operation, relevance and utilization. This Executive VP role will have an emphasized focus on New Product Development and the coordination of the Management in Engineering, Sales, Manufacturing and Materials to ensure success and growth of the organization.
This position will interact regularly with ownership and individual department heads to ensure that sales, marketing and operational priorities are aligned with the overall company direction, metrics, goals, culture and strategic plans.
- ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND KEY CORE COMPETENCIES REQUIRED TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE
- Strong leadership, strategic planning, sales and new product development skills;
- Electrical industry experience – with contacts and connections on the distribution side of the business;
- Lighting industry experience; including LED lighting solutions;
- Experience working with Manufacturers Representatives REQUIRED;
- 10 years of experience developing, marketing, and launching new products;
- 15+ years of senior-level sales and marketing, and business management experience required.
- Experience leading and directing Product Engineering Managers, Marketing Managers, Sales Managers, Materials and Manufacturing Managers;
- Proven ability to positively and successfully lead cross functional teams;
- Strong planning and analysis skills to perform quantitative data analysis;
- A change agent with highly evolved influencing skills, positive attitude, strong work ethics;
- Exceptional communicator and facilitator who is able to communicate proficiently to all levels of an organization and to external business partners;
- Mechanical and technical aptitude;
- Strategic planning and execution skills to enhance profitability, productivity and efficiency throughout the company’s operations;
- Knowledge of contracting, negotiating, and change management;
- Knowledge of structuring sales quota goals and revenue expectations;
- The ability to balance multiple primary responsibilities;
- Business acumen at an executive level;
- Ability to establish and maintain business relationships and long lasting partnerships.
