Eastern Region Sales Manager Needed – UPDATE – FILLED
King Electrical Manufacturing is looking for a highly skilled energetic Eastern Region Sales Manager. The regional sales manager is responsible for achieving key sales objectives through the managing of multiple distributors and aggressively growing new accounts. The position is responsible for managing the growth and development of the company’s product mix and brand value in defined area. The position reports to the Division Sales Manager.
Essential Job Functions:
- Build Relationships and Networks …maintain/expand existing industry contacts while rapidly establishing personal relationships with key individuals within all levels of the Industry. Interface with existing sales teams to facilitate and leverage broader industry contracts and contacts.
- Develop promotional strategy for regional area in conjunction with marketing and tour departments for on- and off-premise events and promotions. Validate existing marketing programs and develop new solutions that create a compelling “value proposition”.
- Recommend and implement sales strategies for improvement based on market research and competitor analyses. Make calls on all segments of the Industry which include Distributors, Contractors, Builders and Engineers.
- Benchmark business data and sales trends for key accounts and provide monthly recommendations to division manager for execution.
- Build sustainable partnerships at all distributors and key accounts by emphasizing King’s Company’s brand and product value.
- Master New Solutions and Capabilities …understand quickly where and how new products can be positioned, such as floor heating, Custom convectors and Energy Star thermostats. Research and learn new emerging markets and technology and trends. Stay abreast of regulatory and policy decisions and conversations that could impact business.
- Plan and Organize and Execute Strategic Sales Plans… optimize identified opportunities by developing and executing comprehensive sales plans that focuses on customer retention and competitive strengths. Attend NAED meetings, network with Marketing Groups and call on National Account corporate leaders and influencers.
- Train and work with Manufacturer Representatives in order to fully develop best sales and marketing practices.
Must have 7 + years sales experience in the Electrical Wholesale/ HVAC sales industry and be willing to travel.
