Shaving for Children at the NAED South-Central
You’ve heard the phrase “what goes on in Vegas stays in Vegas”. Well, what goes on at an NAED South-Central doesn’t stay in Tampa when it can benefit children, especially children with cancer, and the St. Baldrick’s Foundation .. and the shaving of an attendee.
The electrical industry has been known for relationships and this has made the industry fun for many. And while golf isn’t as prevalent at the NAED meetings anymore, perhaps a new tradition at the NAED South-Central was born last month.
As many know, Pat Schrager, Director of Sales for Kendall and formerly with Panduit, has been an active participant in St. Baldrick’s and shaves his head annually in an effort to raise money for the foundation to help conquer children with cancer. We’ve promoted him a number of times on ElectricalTrends.
This year in Tampa he got Kevin McDaniel from Eaton involved .. and a shaving was conducted in Tampa with many contributing to the shaving, and donation, process.

Both Pat and Kevin have St Baldrick’s donation pages and Pat is the chair in the Battle Creek, MI area. According to Pat they are trying to raise $100,000 with these two seeking to collectively generate $25,000 of the $100,000. Perhaps as an industry we can help meet their commitments.
It’s for a good cause, support the kids!
