Anixter Seeking Lighting Product Manager – FILLED

Anixter Power Solutions  is currently hiring a Lighting Product Manager to be located in its Glenview, IL office. The Lighting Product Manager is Anixter’s subject matter expert for their lighting products and suppliers.

The person has responsibility for understanding, communicating, and leveraging the features/benefits of lighting products in order to drive sales and profitability growth. The position is 50% strategic and 50% tactical with upward mobility. The position includes creating annual business plans & strategy execution on their suppliers and products while managing tactical relationship with key suppliers. The Product Manager will execute standard cost strategy, engage cross-functionally with sales, sourcing, and engineering teams, as well as work with the Inventory Management team to develop inventory models and replenishment strategies.

The ideal candidate would have 2-4 years of sales, marketing or similar roles and previous experience in the electrical distribution market is a plus
