Thank You and Happy New Year
As 2017 comes to an end, I wanted to take a moment and thank you, our readers. Our goal throughout the year, and since August 2007 when ElectricalTrends was conceived, is to share ideas, observations and information to help you in your business. ElectricalTrends is a communications vehicle and, we hope, that if you find our insights (and sometimes open-ended questions) of value, you’ll reach out to us for consulting advice via Channel Marketing Group.
2017 was another record breaking year.
- We now have almost 2300 subscribers
- The site had almost 150,000 page views from 90,000 visits
- We wrote almost 100 postings
The top 10 postings, based upon page views, were:
- GE Industrial Moves to Phase 2 in Sale (which also had the most posted comments … 108!)
- GE and ABB Doing the Tango?
- Phase 3 of GE Exit from the Electrical Industry
- Rexel on the Move?
- 10 Trends for the Industrial Automation and Control Market
- Grainger and WESCO, a Preview of Strategy
- Changing World of Distribution Equipment
- Changes in the Wire / Cable World, Prysmian Wins General Cable
- Q2 Distributor Performance … WESCO, AD, Graybar, Rexel and Grainger
- Acuity Q3 and Lighting Info
It was another exciting year. We hope you valued our thoughts and input. We welcome your comments, feedback and encourage you to share your thoughts via postings (you can also post them anonymously or email us your thoughts and we’ll post anonymously for you). And if you’d like to recommend site changes or topics to cover, drop me a line.
But, most importantly, as the calendar changes this weekend, it is my fervent hope that you have a happy, healthy and prosperous New Year. We look forward to working with you in 2018.
