Linda Longo Joins ElectricalTrends, Expanded Lighting Coverage
ElectricalTrends, a service of Channel Marketing Group, is expanding its coverage of the lighting space.
Linda Longo, the editor of Enlightenment magazine, will be contributing to lighting content and observations on a regular basis to ElectricalTrends readers.
Lighting can represent 25-30% of a construction-oriented distributor’s sales and is an important component of the industry. Further, it is the one category that always seems to have change whether its product innovation, new applications, supply chain issues, new entrants, pricing … it’s always something.
“Given the importance of the segment, and the fact that every distributor sells lighting, we wanted to bring additional insights to our readership,” said David Gordon, president of Channel Marketing Group. “I’ve known Linda Longo for many years and knew she was well acquainted with the lighting space from her time at enLIGHTenment and felt she could contribute to ElectricalTrends.”

Linda Longo has been covering the residential lighting industry for 28 years and the architectural lighting space for 20 years. She has received numerous awards for feature writing and news reporting as well as editorial direction for the previous launches of Contract Lighting magazine and enLIGHTenment.
Linda will also become more involved with additional collaborative lighting initiatives that Channel Marketing Group is developing and will be introducing to the market in the near future.
