Q2 2022 Pulse of Lighting Survey Now Open
The second quarter is quickly coming to a close and, for the lighting industry, it ends in a Fair in Las Vegas (LightFair). And if you are attending LightFair, stop by our US Lighting Trends booth – #2277 as Linda Longo and I will be there (and feel free to reach out if you want to schedule some time while we’re in Vegas.) If you’re a manufacturer exhibiting at LightFair, check out this free LightFair promotional offering from US Lighting Trends.
For many Q2 may be a repeat of Q1 with COVID impacting the business and supply chain issues continuing (especially delays from China). But markets reportedly remain strong in many parts of the country with all sectors – renovation, new commercial construction, industrial projects – having growth and residential depends upon “where”.
In our Q1 report, respondents projected that Q2 performance would result in 9-11% growth. The question is … did it?
Material costs, labor, and freight continue to impact pricing but how will the Federal Reserve and potential government actions affect the lighting industry?
With less than a month remaining we’d like to get your pulse of the market during Q2 and how you think it will end.
With this as the backdrop for Q2 2022, we ask you to share 3 minutes of your time and provide input on our Q2 2022 Pulse of Lighting survey.
This time we also have some interesting quarterly questions that relate to the potential impact of removing tariffs, price increase expectations and if distributors are tracking unit sales.
In appreciation of your time and we’ll send you a free report.
This is the industry’s only independent perspective of the lighting market.
All information is aggregated and no respondent specific information is shared. All input is confidential.
For the fourth year we thank William Blair for sponsoring this industry research and allowing the report to be made available to lighting manufacturers, electrical / lighting distributors and independent manufacturer reps / lighting agents for free.
