Cree Lighting Seeks Channel Marketing Manager
Cree Lighting, a market-leading innovator of LED lighting for indoor, outdoor and intelligent lighting applications, is looking for a Channel Marketing Manager.
We are currently looking for a passionate, metrics driven Channel Marketing Manager who will work closely with internal and external Sales, Distributors, Agents and our own Marketing Communications teams and Agencies to create, assign success metrics, deliver, track and optimize marketing programs and projects with the latest marketing technologies to drive increased Agent and Distributor market share. The role encompasses managing our channel partner MDF processes and claims, coordinating regional events, budget management, and channel partner database management. You’ll need experience creating, executing and assessing effective marketing programs in a B2B environment using digital marketing technologies and methodologies that deliver positive ROI on time and on budget. You’ll be a continuous improvement focused self-starter and strategic problem solver who doesn’t need much oversight, and yet you’ll also be a great cross-functional communicator, so our internal and external teams and partners are always aware of and aligned with your activities. We are looking for 3-5 years of hands on marketing program experience with a minimum of 1 year leading marketing programs.

Channel Marketing Manager Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Assess needs, secure management buy-in, establish goals and KPIs, develop, launch and track performance of channel marketing programs.
- Develop and execute the field and co-marketing plans for Distributors, Agents and Contractors.
- Manage marketing team relationships with Distributors, Agents and Contractors.
- Work closely with the Product Marketing and Marketing Communication team members to support brand development and experiential activities.
- Utilize data and customer insights to provide channel marketing program recommendations that drive market share.
- Understand changing and differing priorities and how these impact channel marketing.
- Budget management.
- Manage channel partner MDF program
- Oversee the administration and maintenance of key channel partner product information databases.
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related field OR equivalent combination of education and experience
- 3-5 years of hands on marketing program experience with a minimum of 1 year leading marketing programs.
- Digital marketing skills .
- Strong metrics-driven background with a passion for measuring the ROI of initiatives
- Excellent communicator.
- Highly organized
- An understanding of distribution channels for the electrical (or similar) industries.
