Jason Hill Becomes HellermannTyton’s Executive Sales Director
According to a recent press release, HellermannTyton has promoted Jason Hill to Executive Sales Director, responsible for the company’s electrical business.
Hill joined the company in August 2000 as Telecommunications Market Manager. Since then, he has served as a regional sales manager, a national sales manager of HellermannTyton’s Data Center Solutions business (before data centers become fashionable!) and then become focused on the electrical industry.
In 2012 he became the company’s Market Development Manager for the Electrical Wholesaling segment before spending six years as the National Sales Manager for the Electrical Wholesaling business.
In 2020 Hill was named the Director of Channel Sales for the electrical side of the business. In recent years, Hill also chaired the National Association of Electrical Distributors (NAED) Manufacturing Council.
Under Hill’s leadership, all electrical sales personnel will report directly or indirectly to him. This includes national accounts, channel management, and infrastructure and industrial sales segments.
“I am both honored and appreciative to take on this new responsibility and continue contributing to HellermannTyton’s success,” Hill said. “Together, our incredible team remains committed to driving innovation and growth while maintaining our strong, customer-first focus.”
“Jason brings unmatched market knowledge and a clear voice-of-the-customer perspective to our organization,” said President Terry Tuttle. “He will help lead our electrical strategy and projects, as well as develop and support sales opportunities with his talented sales staff.”
Congratulations to Jason on his promotion.
Role Opportunity – Head of HellermannTyton Channel Sales – Electrical
On a personal note, Jason has a passion for the business, and for the industry. Further, he is known for being innovative and, to a point, unconventional, in an effort to accelerate sales and deliver value to distributors and HellermannTyton. I mention this as Jason is seeking his replacement … to be the Head of Channel Sales for HellermannTyton’s Electrical Group.
If you are passionate, energetic, creative but at the same time a great coach who is empathetic to your team while demanding performance (and willing to work alongside your team), consider applying for this role to work with Jason. And if you want Jason’s email address, reach out to me.
