We wanted to share our respects on an industry stalwart and leader.
As reported in last week’s issue of Electrical Wholesaling, Joe Frangipane, known to many as the VP Supplier Relations for IMARK, and before that a leader at WIED and Alcan, passed away on July 3.
Joe was a stalwart in the industry, and known by many throughout the industry. Coming from an industry background, he understood manufacturer needs, but he thought, and fought, for distributors, understanding their importance to the manufacturer. He was a quality, caring, individual with the highest ethical standards. As many manufacturers will attest, he was a tough, but fair, negotiator. His tireless efforts profited many IMARK distributors.
He was creative, open to new ideas, recognized the value of marketing and most important a good person and a great friend to many. He will be missed by all of us.
