ABB Makes Move to Fields in Ohio; Names Sethi SVP Sales
ABB’s Installation Products Division has named Fields Electrical Sales, Electris360’s eastern local agency, as its sales representative for Ohio, West Virginia and Western Pennsylvania, strengthening ABB’s local-for-local strategy in a region experiencing significant industrial and infrastructure growth. Effective November 1, 2026, Electris360/Fields Electrical Sales will serve as the primary contact for electrical distributors, contractors, engineers and end-users throughout the territory, bringing ABB’s comprehensive commercial and industrial portfolio of Installation Products closer to customers across the Eastern region.
“Electris360/Fields Electrical Sales represents exactly what we look for in a partner: experienced people who understand our products, our customers and our market,” said Mike Shenouda, GM and Region Leader for ABB Installation Products Division in the U.S. and Latin America. “Their familiarity with the Thomas & Betts legacy and deep roots in the region make them the ideal representative. This appointment supports our strategy, bringing ABB representation to every major U.S. market through agencies that know their territories and their customers inside and out.”
Paul Staten, Electris360 Regional Vice President for East Local Agency – Fields Electrical Sales, commented, “This is not a product line we are starting from scratch with. Our team understands the products, the distribution channel, the customers, and the reputation behind the ABB Installation Products’ name. On a personal level, this partnership means a great deal to me. I have been selling these products, and competing against them, for more than 32 years. I know the reputation ABB has built and what the brand has meant to distributors, contractors, and end users. There are very few lines in this industry that would make me this excited to be a manufacturers’ representative. ABB Installation Products, and its brands, is one of them.”
Founded in 1934, Fields Electrical Sales has served the Eastern electrical market for more than 90 years, building trusted relationships across the region. The company currently has 45 associates covering Ohio, western PA, West Virginia and Michigan (where it will not be representing ABB.) Several team members have direct experience with ABB products, positioning the agency to deliver responsive, knowledgeable service while maintaining access to ABB’s global innovation and product development capabilities.
Partnerships like this don’t happen by accident.” Bill Devereaux, President of Electris360, shared. “They are built on trust, performance and the confidence that a manufacturer like ABB places in our people and their ability to execute. I am incredibly proud of the Fields team and excited about what we will accomplish together.”
Electris360’s partnership with ABB started last December when ABB appointed RB Sales to cover their Iowa, Kansas, most of Nebraska, and Western Missouri markets. The relationship expanded earlier this week with the announcement that ElectroRep became ABB’s California and Nevada rep effective November 1. With the announcement that ABB has partnered with Fields, this now strengthens the relationship across all of Electris360’s regions.
Of note, and for clarification purposes, VerHill Associates will continue to represent ABB for MV/LV switchgear, motor control, breakers, busway and distribution automation in western PA, West Virginia, Ohio, central and northern Indiana and portions of Kentucky and in Ohio, western PA, KY, and IN for process automation, safety systems and electrical systems for heavy industry.
Separately, ABB announced that Heather Sethi has joined the company as Sr. Vice President of Sales for our US/Latin America region. Previously she was at nVent as VP – AD, Independent Electrical Supply Division and before that she was nVent Hoffman’s Director of Channel in North America. Sethi started in the industry as a rep with McAuliffe Sales before joining McNaughton-McKay as an industrial control specialist and then worked for Shealy Electric as an account manager. Having worked in all segments of the industry, her broad experience provides unique experience for her new role.
