0 The Product Sales Specialist is responsible for managing specific sales and marketing efforts for a product or product group within the automation control and energy platform. We are looking for someone that has a strong technical product background and also likes to sell.
This role is needed in the Seattle, Washington and Charlotte, North Carolina area.
The Product Sales Specialist Responsibilities:
- Seek new business developments opportunities within target accounts and new business in order to grow market share.
- Establish target markets, identify potential accounts within that market, and determine appropriate business contacts.
- Schedule marketing activities to promote manufactures products, solutions and processes
- Develop and maintain effective business relationships in order to understand customer needs and provide intelligent solutions.
- Provides specific product training for customers through on-site meetings, group meetings, or training by phone or the web.
- Act as a trusted business partner to provide exceptional support to internal and external customers.
- Effectively communicate product or product group concepts to Engineering solutions group, and sales personnel to drive sales.
- Continuously evaluates and benchmarks new products and ideas for future sales growth potential.
- Consult manufacturers to strategically develop and implement a solid sales strategy.
- Examine product inventory levels to understand product demand and sales potential within the marketplace.
- Implement target opportunities for Engineering Services.
The Product Sales Specialist Qualifications:
- Education: Prefer a 4 year degree in Business or a related filed of study or equivalent work experience.
- Experience: At least 3-5 year applicable Product Sales Experience in Industrial Automation business environment.
PRODUCT KNOWLEDGE: PLC, Drives, Motors, HMI, Motion Control, Electrical controls and components
Knowledge Essential to the The Product Sales Specialist Position:
- Good working knowledge of Motion control, Vision, and Automation Technology and its application.
- Motion Control industry and the Market.
- Knowledge of applicable Software and Programming Technology.
