2020 Winding Down, ElectricalTrends’ Top 10
2020 is winding down and we’d like to thank you for your readership of ElectricalTrends. This year we had over 113,000 page views, which represented a 10% increase over 2019.
Lots of different topics were covered through over 90 new postings (there are now over 1200 generated over the past thirteen years in our database.)
Obviously, the major topic was COVID and its impact on the industry. We conducted four surveys to gain distributor, manufacturer, and rep insights. Shared thoughts on changes in the channel at the counter, online (with the acceleration of eCommerce as an omni-resource for customers), in the field with the changing role of reps as well as the impact on the traditional manufacturer regional management role.
Honestly, it’s a challenge to remember the first 75 days of 2020 but that was back when we had two NAED regional conferences (remember, there were face-to-face conferences in 2020!) and shared results of the 2020 NEMRA Rep of the Future report at the NEMRA 2020 Annual Meeting last February.
