Leviton Launches Podcast for Electrical Contractors
In a move to deepen its partnership with the electrical contractor community, Melville, N.Y.-based Leviton is debuting a podcast series to address the channel’s concerns and needs.
The Contractor Connect Podcast Series covers relevant topics, products, and news as well as details regarding new Leviton programs. Each podcast will feature a live interview with industry experts.
“In an ongoing effort to engage with and serve as a trusted resource to the contractor community, we developed the Contractor Connect Podcast Series to share the latest developments at Leviton, as well as the electrical industry in general, in an informative and entertaining way,” said Tom Degnan, Contractor Channel Manager at Leviton. “Leviton is particularly pleased to have the opportunity to sit down with industry leaders and experts, allowing them to share their knowledge and experiences with electrical contractors.”
The podcast series kicks off with guest Mike Holt, a recognized NEC® Code expert, who will explain the latest AFCI requirements. He is joined by Brian House, electrical contractor and Vice President at Mike Holt Enterprises, and Bill Grande, Senior Director/Product Management at Leviton to discuss advancements in GFCI technology, including self-test requirements and what happens when a GFCI reaches its end of life. Other topics include how Leviton Wi-Fi®-enabled load centers and Bluetooth® AFCI receptacles receive firmware updates that help contractors by eliminating nuisance tripping.
